Now Enrolling - Kindergarten 2026-2027!
SWCS is now enrolling for Kindergarten for the 2026–2027 school year! We look forward to assisting families through the enrollment process and cannot wait to meet next fall's enrollees!
Enrollment is now open for any student who will be 5 years of age on or before the first day of school. For South Western City Schools, the first day of school for the 2026–2027 school year is Wednesday, August 19, 2026. Previously, children with birthdays on or before September 30 were eligible to enroll. This change reflects a recent update in state law (House Bill 114), which revised the kindergarten enrollment age requirement across all Ohio schools.
